VALENTYN
Lady Jeyne Poole is the wife of Lord Ramsay Bolton, Lord of Hornwood, and Lord of Winterfell.
Jeyne was born in Winterfell, the daughter of the fort’s butler, Vayon Poole. She spent her childhood with the Stark children, becoming Sansa Stark’s best friend.
Jeyne accompanies her father to King’s Landing when Lord Eddard Stark is named Hand of the King. During the Tournament of the Hand, Jeyne declares that she would marry Lord Beric Dondarrion upon seeing him at the jousting. Soon after, she witnesses the death of a young knight and has to be escorted outside by Septa Mordane to compose herself.
Jeyne survives the Stark service massacre. She is arrested for treason and confined by Ser Boros Blount of the Royal Guard to a room next to Sansa Stark. Jeyne’s father dies during the massacre, and then she is handed over to Petyr Baelish, who says he will find a place for her.
When Ser Jaime Lannister says goodbye to Walton, he notices that there is a northern girl who claims to be Arya Stark, although Jaime does not recognize her. Later, Jaime tells Brienne that this girl is not Arya but some northern girl that her father found. Jeyne is sent North to marry Ramsay Bolton in support of Lord Roose Bolton’s claim to Winterfell. Brienne is stunned when Jaime explains that with all of Arya’s relatives dead, except Sansa and her bastard brother at the Wall, no one will be able to question the girl’s identity. According to Jaime, the Boltons know that the girl is a fraud.
Jeyne is forced to marry Ramsay. She pleads with Theon Greyjoy several times before the wedding to help her out of there. When she is undressed by Theon during the bedtime, her back is covered in scars, suggesting that she may have been flogged. When Ramsay asks her if she knows how to please a man, she replies that she has been trained.
She spends all of her time confined to the tower and is deeply traumatized by the things Ramsay does to her. The maids who bathe her notice the bruises on her body and her sobs are heard throughout Winterfell. According to Lady Barbrey Ryswell, “Arya Stark’s” cry is more dangerous than Stannis Baratheon’s army. Although the Freys don’t mind, the former northern vassals of the Stark House begin to lose morale in loyalty to the Boltons upon hearing the cries.A rescue attempt is perpetrated by Mance Rayder. Mance, under the alias of Abel, carries six women of steel with him disguised as maids. They help Theon and Jeyne, but only the latter manage to get out of Winterfell. Mance and the women are captured. They are skinned and Mance is placed in a cage in the open, with women’s skins as the only way to protect themselves from the cold.
Jeyne and Theon are discovered by Mors Umber and taken to Stannis Baratheon’s main camp.
The truth is a character which you can put yourself in his shoes, nobody would like to be married to a torturer. At least Theon did a good act and managed to get her out of that hell that was once their home.

@violentgoth thank you for helping people know where to find more of our art!
Would you consider making some more Theonsa art?
I’m not against it but I’m also not inspired to…I wouldn’t expect to spontaneously see anything any time soon. I don’t personally have much else to “say” about it in art anymore.
Between Not Taken and The Sun are where I’m at with them in art for the show and books respectively.

I absolutely adore your art! Would it be ok to use one as a profile picture on Discord, or would you prefer not?
I don’t generally mind as long as you credit me for the image in your bio or something that’d be great :)
I generally accept that people are going to edit my work for icons ect… but as long as it’s not being re-sold and the art is credited to me I’m happy.
That and as long as it’s not used in like hate speech and the like…that wouldn’t be good.
But generally I’m ok with this :)

You’re God?
Your love…

Fane and the Lady Amadia, from Divinity Original Sin 2. I love the dynamic of this relationship, the lies built on lies built on lies all hiding what might be the worst truth imaginable.
Fane has hair because in my game he does, haha. This was finished last month, but I’m getting around to posting it on Tumblr just now, because the mood has struck me. I usually post art these days on Instagram (KepTrefler_art)
A sketch of Fane from Divinity Original Sin 2 that I made and really like. I’ve tried to color it but I haven’t come up with anything that captures the charm of the sketch here. The version of Fane in my game has hair because I love hair ok, and the magic ship mirror let me do it so IT’S FINE. It’s magic hair.
I most post art these days on Instagram (keptrefler_art) but I’ll repost some stuff here when the mood strikes me…Like right now, haha.
Theon Arc Tarot: The Sun
“He remembered a time when he had thought that Lord Eddard Stark might marry him to Sansa and claim him for a son, but that had only been a child’s fancy.”
Some dumb sketches and “studies” I made from screen shots of the show that I adjusted the characters a bit to be more book accurate. I am in mourning okay. I do these when I am sad.
Not Taken
When you act like this
When you get so into yourself
I lose sight of common goals
And letting go so I can be all alone
Feel myself, going slow
Feel myself, letting go
Not taken, not feeling like I’m yours.
